About the Session
You may recognize moments on your recovery journey with Bipolar Disorder where the desire to move forward is present, but the path itself feels unclear. Would you like to walk with someone who’s been there?
For individuals seeking support with daily Bipolar Disorder self-management (*Please review “Is this a good fit?” before booking a session)
Length: 1 hour // Offered in ENGLISH OR FRENCH
In-person and virtual (online) sessions available
Living well with bipolar disorder is possible — and it takes routine and commitment to do it. This diagnosis is not a sentence — it is an open door to choosing to do things differently.
This is where we can join you and walk by your side to help you develop awareness around your needs, creating new sustainable habits and coming back to yourself, the self you always knew you were.
Let’s co-create in ways that support you to build a life that uplifts you.
Where do we do this work?
We can meet in person for a walk + talk, set up in a park, meet at a quiet café, or do an online virtual meeting. Whatever works best for you.
The following are topics we can choose from to help guide the way:
(Grounded in Joëlle’s lived experience and a peer-support approach)
lived experience with bipolar II disorder recovery
sober living and recovery
daily mental health mood charting
Joëlle’s “Mental Health Golden Triangle”: 3 pillars of sleep hygiene, food as medicine and exercise for endorphins
practical application of cognitive-based tools and Radical Acceptance practice
Is this a good fit for you?
This offering may be a good fit if you:
Are currently living independently (not in acute care / hospital setting)
Have ongoing support in place (professional / personal)
Are actively engaged in managing your mental health (and substance use recovery, where relevant)
Feel able to participate in reflective conversations about your inner experience
Are ready to implement changes in your life
This offering is not designed to support you at this time if you are:
In immediate crisis or requiring urgent mental health care
Experiencing active suicidal thoughts
Currently hospitalized or in an acute psychiatric setting
In a phase of substance use that feels unmanageable without structured addiction support
Primarily needing stabilization rather than coaching-based support
Support Note
If you are currently in crisis or need immediate support, please reach out to a trusted healthcare provider, local crisis line, or emergency services. You deserve support that meets you where you are.
Coaching is offered within a clear, ethical, and non-clinical framework that prioritizes collaboration, respect, and shared responsibility.
